I love my sproutbox garden, it has been a great addition to my back yard. Last spring I began to do my seeds using your seeding kit and I realy liked them, they are really strong and you can move them without the fear of breaking the trays and having to collect the plants on the floor.
Inspired by Charles Dowding's cell trays, I went on the hunt to find similar, affordable and Canadian made trays. When I saw Sproutbox's seed cell trays, I recognized that they were similar to those used by Charles Dowding - large bottom hole, not too big, etc. I took the chance to purchase, hopeful that they would match my expectations. The cell trays are the sturdy, easy to use and fit well into the shallow base trays. The open hole in the bottom and the air pruning side slits make it extremely easy with minimal handling, to remove the seedling intact and transplant it into a prepared hole. I highly recommend using these cell trays to give your seeds/seedlings a headstart.

Seed starting made easy! Finally I had success with starting leeks from seeds. Transplanting is much easier with the big opening in the bottom. They are durable and love that they can be cleaned and sterilized in the dishwasher.

I absolutely love Sproutbox's Seed Starting kits. They are durable (dishwasher friendly too), easy to use and clean. They are also very easy to transplant from with its great design. I wouldn't use anything else.

The four cell starter set is well made. They will last a life time. Plants are easy to remove using the opening at the bottom. These are much better than the cheap starter trays. They are also better than the silicone trays that gets stained and mouldy over time.

I ordered too late for my spring veg sprouting but just pulled this out to do a last round of peas and a wave of cauliflower. They are so sturdy! Planted 16 cauliflower and 16 pease all jn one tray. I only have a very small zipper greenhouse so space is important!
Love the sturdy nature of these seedling cell pots and the large opening at the bottom to release the seedling. I tried rooting petunia clippings and being able to see the roots forming is an added bonus of the cell pot side slits. These will come in handy for years.

I really enjoy the Sproutbox seed starting tray lineup. I have had previous seed trays from other companies like Winstrip, Bootstrap Farmer and Hoss Tools. I am excited to have an actual Canadian product that is built to last from Canada. I always wanted to support small businesses in Canada, and now I can.

These are very well made and fit perfectly on the base tray. I did not order them in time to use this year so cannot comment on their functionality but have no reason to be doubtful.

I love that the trays are shallow and are made of quality plastic. Also bought some pots to go with the trays haven't used them yet they are for next years seedlings, but also great quality.

I was a little hesitant to purchase these because I have used little Solo cups (3 oz) for years. However these sproutbox seed starters are way better. They take up less room and when I have transplanted seedlings from them the roots look really good. Plus the plastic used for the Sproutbox appears to be waaaaay more durable. I am a convert

I have bought several of these for our seedlings . They are deep enough that I know I am bottom watering and it is working . I have used cookie sheets , black plastic trays that come in those kits but these I find work the best for us , once you are done with them you wash them off and store away for next time. I also have bought other ITEMs from them and am not disappointed at all. If you want quality this is the company . Love love love them.

I bought enough 6 cell starter packs to start 216 lettuce plants for our local food bank gardening team, and I like them so much, I bought four sets of the 4 cell stater packs to use on my tomatoes. These are a great, sturdy cell set, with nice large bottom holes to make pushing transplants out very easily and quickly. A great product, and very nice to be able to shop Canadian.

Very sturdy! A nice detail is the inclusion of ridges on the sides for fingers to comfortably fit while carrying the tray. Impressive ‘small but mighty’ detail.
