I have been wanting a raised garden bed for ages, and some folks in town used Sproutbox and I knew I wanted some too. Instructions were easy to follow and they delivered fast! It took a few days to put everything together, but mostly because we ordered several. They look great in our yard and I can’t wait to plant next season!!
This new Sprout box was a replacement for a same sized cedar garden that had seen better days (although I loved it too). The team helped me on the phone to design this 8X8 U shaped design. Hard work shovelling the old soil out - and then building the new set - but all so worth it! The new garden is all ready for next spring. Even a few left over pieces so we built a little round additional garden.

We ordered two U-shape designs not realizing they shipped as two L-shapes but that left us with enough extra parts we could crate two small round planters as well. Not sure what we’ll plant in those yet but we didn’t want to ‘waste’ the extra pieces. We could have bought more separate pieces but couldn’t be bothered tbh. Assembly was really challenging especially given their height and overall size. We had to flip them when half built to bolt the bottom rows. Definitely not a one person job. Visually appealing and they seem more stable (because of bracing) than some other metal boxes we looked at. The rubber seal was tricky but not impossible; just took patience and thoughtful placement.
