Together, Carson and Erick are on a mission to help Canadians build spaces that inspire connection — to the soil, to food, and to one another.
Sproutbox Garden was founded by friends Carson and Erick, two Canadians with a shared passion for building, problem-solving, and growing things.
The idea took root during the pandemic, when the pair were working on a cedar fence project. With leftover wood on hand, they decided to build a few raised garden beds and list them online. To their surprise, the response was immediate — Canadians were eager to grow their own food.
As orders came in, so did challenges. Lumber prices climbed, shipping bulky wooden beds proved difficult, and the wet West Coast climate took its toll on cedar. Carson and Erick began searching for a better solution — something durable, lightweight, and designed to thrive in Canadian conditions.
That search led to the creation of Sproutbox Garden Metal Raised Beds — a product built to outlast wood, simplify setup, and bring lasting value to home gardeners across the country.
At the heart of Sproutbox is a simple belief: Canadians are stronger and healthier when we take time to get our hands in the dirt. Gardening slows us down, grounds us, and connects us to the land and each other.
Through our 1% Giveback Program, we’re proud to support garden education and accessibility initiatives that help more Canadians experience the joy of growing their own food.
Sproutbox Garden was designed to make gardening more accessible — and to help Canadians grow well, season after season.
